Too Sexy?

Last weekend, I was at a big party that was very accepting of all sexualities and expressions of oneself. It’s a place where you can totally be yourself without fear of judgement.

I was wearing a racy, red bra that really shows off my breasts, and I felt a little uncomfortable about drawing too much attention and being too sexy. I voiced this to my dear friend, and she said, “If people are looking, they are looking because they are enjoying it.” And I said, “Hahaha, yes this is true.” And as I continued to dance as my boobs did their own dance, I realized that I WAS NOT going to cover myself up! They are mine, and they bounce, and it’s ludicrous to hide them because of being too sexy.

I love that bra. I love my swaying, sexy hips. I love my bouncing breasts, and I WILL NOT hide them because society has placed blame on women for being too sexy and being the cause of unwanted glances, touching, and sexual assault. Just because my breasts are showing their fullness and just BEING what they are, DOES NOT mean I cause other’s to objectify or disrespect my body. I can wear what I want. I don’t have to hide my body or tame my sexual energy. I love being in my body and being sexy and sensual.

So I quickly dropped my worry and discomfort and danced full out the rest of the night! 🙂

Taking Pleasure in my Body

This past weekend, I had an incredible experience in my body. I was in pure ecstasy and pleasure. I was staying at a bed and breakfast where I had the opportunity to unplug…literally. I turned off my cell phone and didn’t go near a computer for two whole days! 🙂 YES!

I had just finished a 3 hour hike in the snowy and cold mountains north of Blackhawk, CO with the hike getting colder and colder as the snowflakes morphed into big globs. I was coooold!

When I arrived back into the warmth of my room, my body was leading me to the floor, where I let myself be moved by my body without interference of my mind. My body was stretching and curling and rolling around on the soft, soft carpet. I was taking such pleasure in the sensations of the carpet and being on the ground, so sunken into what my body wanted.

After a few minutes of taking deep pleasure like a cat does rolling around on the ground, I filled up the jetted tub with hot water. I was soooo excited to sink into the water and warm up. But it was tooooo hot. I was waiting, waiting, waiting. Even after adding cold water, it was still too hot.

But finally, it was just cool enough to get in but still hot enough that I had to submerge myself in very, very slowly. Oh. my. god. It was pure pleasure. My body melted and slumped against the bathroom wall. I savored the delicious warmth by easing in very slowly. And I thought that was phenomenal…until I turned the jets on and completely let myself be enveloped by the steamy water. Oh myyyy….

I just completely, deeply, and fully surrendered. I felt so intimately connected to my feminine. Completely open, surrendered, embodied and in connection to my pleasure. I could feel my hair waving in the current of the jet stream. The sound of the jets were entrancing. The way my body floated and sunk with each inhale and exhale. What a joy to have a body. What a joy to take pleasure in my human experience. And all without sex! I realized I want to SLOW down and take pleasure MORE! Every day, as much as I can.

Which leads me to this proposal to you: Will you take 30 minutes to an hour to completely shut off your electronics, sink into your body, give it what it wants, put your worries and to-do list aside, and just BE? Will you just be with your senses? Will you take delight in your body and its earthly experience? I hope you do. ❤

You want to be sexy?

You don’t have to TRY to be sexy. You ARE sexy. Just by your VERY being — you are innately sexy. You are born with sexual energy. Your sexual energy moves mountains, oozes creativity, infuses life into your day, and literally births new life.

It is a strong force within you that doesn’t just exist in the Victoria Secret models. It doesn’t discriminate against your size, shape, color, gender expression, etc. This sexual energy is already within you, and you can embody it whenever you want. I dare you to. I dare you to see how it impacts your vitality, your glow, your shine.

Inspirational Quote

“Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life. Meaning does not lie in things. Meaning lies in us.”
