Last weekend, I was at a big party that was very accepting of all sexualities and expressions of oneself. It’s a place where you can totally be yourself without fear of judgement.
I was wearing a racy, red bra that really shows off my breasts, and I felt a little uncomfortable about drawing too much attention and being too sexy. I voiced this to my dear friend, and she said, “If people are looking, they are looking because they are enjoying it.” And I said, “Hahaha, yes this is true.” And as I continued to dance as my boobs did their own dance, I realized that I WAS NOT going to cover myself up! They are mine, and they bounce, and it’s ludicrous to hide them because of being too sexy.
I love that bra. I love my swaying, sexy hips. I love my bouncing breasts, and I WILL NOT hide them because society has placed blame on women for being too sexy and being the cause of unwanted glances, touching, and sexual assault. Just because my breasts are showing their fullness and just BEING what they are, DOES NOT mean I cause other’s to objectify or disrespect my body. I can wear what I want. I don’t have to hide my body or tame my sexual energy. I love being in my body and being sexy and sensual.
So I quickly dropped my worry and discomfort and danced full out the rest of the night! 🙂
